I spent some time enhancing the droflo look. It’s not the nicest thing on the web, it’s not flashy, it’s not web 2.0 at all, but it’s simple.
Of course, it could get even simpler, for example, adding an expression to a process currently proposes the ‘designer’ the whole batch of expressions. That’s awkward.
There will be a student project starting soon, it’s about enhancing the eclipse graphical process editor we currently have and turning it into a full ‘OpenWFE IDE’. But this project, in collaboration with an open source oriented company, could instead extend Droflo. We would thus have a web environment for defining and testing process definitions.
Nothing has been decided for now, it largely depends on the inclination of the student towards Eclipse or towards the web (ajax?).
The next OpenWFE pre-release will feature the ‘nicer’ droflo. I hope the sf.net CVS servers will be back online tomorrow morning.
